Private sailing trip in Santorini or Corfu?

We are in need of any information regarding private sails in either Santorini or Corfu. Hoping someone on the boards have done this type of excursion on their own and not through the cruise ship. Thanks in advance! ~Debbi

Last year we had a great day with Santorinisailing.com. We did a semi-private (10 people) sail but they also do private trips. This tour was no doubt the best day we've ever had on a cruise ship. The owner is an American who married a Greek woman, truly great people.

 

I searched for companies in Corfu and only found motor boat rentals so decided to hire a driver instead.

Betonic~ Could you tell me a little about the sail you took in Santorini?

Did someone pick you up at the dock, and was lunch, drinks or snacks included? Any other information would be greatly appreciated! :)

 

I also did a search on Corfu but came up empty. Sounds liked you really enjoyed your sail in Santorini. So far we have 4 people that would like to do this excursion. Do you think it will be warm enough mid-May to enjoy it?
