On our own...jeep or other vehicle

We are 2 couples that are going to be in Aruba in Late April. We want to tour around on our own. Do we do a jeep (how is the heat at that time) or do we get an SUV or something with airconditioning?

The only place that you would need a 4x4 to get to is the natural pool. For any other sites including the lighthouse, baby beach, etc. any car will do. I would rent a full size car and you want AC. The wind keeps the temp down but it is always hot in Aruba.

We rented a jeep from Royal. It had air conditioning and we used it all day. The jeep was nice to drive along the northern coast. We could get from the Lighthouse to the chapel to the ruins to the natural bridge all without being on a paved road. We just went along the coast on the dirt road.

My dh likes the idea of an SUV, and must have A/C. We too use Royal. In December because there were ten of us we ended up with a Suzuki XL-7 and a Lexus RX300.
