Roatan - Snorkeling best thing to do?

I have been reading a lot about Roatan since we will be going there for the first time on our 3/8/2009 NCL Pearl cruise.

 

It seems like the big attraction at this port is the clear water and the beautiful fish. Would snorkeling be the highlight of this port?

 

We were thinking about just buying our own snorkel gear for this cruise since we always enjoy snorkeling when on vacation.

 

Right now I am pregnant (due any day), but my child will be about 12/13 months at the time of the cruise. I want to do something in Honduras that is memorable, but I want the whole family to be able to be involved.

 

Any suggestions from CC members who have been to Roatan are highly welcomed!
