FLL Excursions between B2B cruises

Just curious if anyone has done one of the Princess excursions in FLL between B2B cruises? We are thinking about doing the Everglades tour and in the brochure it says after the tour they drop you off at the Airport. Do you think we could hitch a ride back to the port or are we going to have to find our own way back to the ship? Has anyone done this?

When we did this tour last Summer some of us were going to the airport and others back to the ship. They dropped the airport people first then went back to the port. Don:cool:
