Liquor Stores

Can someone advise me what the liquor stores are called in Hawaii. Can you also buy beer or wine in the Liquor stores or are they seperate stores.

Coming from Australia and not sure how they work in the USA.

Aloha. Actually, each state has its own liquor laws (with some counties being "dry" entirely). In Hawaii, the liquor stores are called just that. You can buy wine, beer, and hard liquor at the grocery and drug stores as well. Sometimes the selection will be better at the liquor stores, but many of the large grocery stores have pretty comprehensive sections of beer, wine, and hard liquors. There are many wine shops as well which often have selections you won't find elsewhere.

 

You shouldn't have any trouble finding or purchasing anything you need.
