The Wind and shore tours.

We are booked on the Wind 10-23-04. We prebooked our tours. There we a few that they say were closed or already filled. We spent many hours choosing which ones to do. Is there any way we can still do them without going through the cruise line? They were the Lua'u on Maui, and the Atlantis submarine on the return to port day. We are first time cruisers and were very disapointed that we did not get all the tours. Please advise. Thank you in advanced for suggestions!

They do have wait lists. Sometimes people change their minds and cancel their excursions once they get on the ship. I would call back and ask about the luau again. When we were on the Wind July 21 they were advertising up until the last minute taking more reservations.

As far as Atlantis goes, go to their website and see if you can reserve a spot through them. There are other luaus on Maui besides the one the ship offers but I think the previous response is worth doing. Keep your name on the waiting list. Some people book everything and then cancel once on board. Happy sails and if you miss any shore excursions you wanted you'll probably end up doing something else that is even more fun. :)

We were on the 9/1 sailing and one excursion that we wanted was sold out. We put our name on the wait list and ended up getting that excursion. So that can work.
