El Jardi Hotel in Barcelona

Has anyone stayed at or heard anything about the El Jardi Hotel in Barcelona? Fodors has red starred it, and gives it a one dollar sign

It generally gets good reviews on Trip Advisor. Maybe its good for one night. But some reviewers say:

 

"it was literally so small it pretty much fit just the bed. (There was chair in there when we arrived and we had to bring it downstairs in order to have a place for our suitcases.) The bathroom was also ridiculously small: you couldn't bend over in the shower. However, we felt like we got a good deal for our money considering the prime location."

Okay - I guess you should expect less from a pensione - but for almost $100 us a night - this place sucked. It was really small and very "dorm-like". Just offered the basics - very old. I do have to say it is in a great location - but the reception people smoked in there everyday - it killed me bc there was no ventilation. Save your money and stay somewhere else - dont be fooled by the nice website either - this place is a dive.
