Just back from the Pride 9/12-9/19!

Got off the Ecstasy on 9/17,:( her last 5 day cruise from Long Beach. Stayed at the Guesthouse. Nice hotel, very comfortable, no elevators. Good continental breakfast. Left our car parked right across from the hotel lobby at no additional charge. Took the shuttle to the Queen Mary ( make an appointment for the shuttle when you check into the hotel) gave our luggage to the porter, and went to the Queen Mary for early check in. On debarkation, called the hotel (they gave us a business card with the hotel phone number and we had cell phones with us) when we picked up our luggage. By the time we walked to the waiting area, we only waited about 10 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. We would do it again if we ever sailed from Long Beach.

I'm glad you had a good time VentureMan, My husband now has questions---He would like to know if a jacket and tie is a requirement for dinner everynight in the dining room??? Any little info you have on this would be appreciated...

19 days til we cruise The Pride

For the men -Jacket and tie is only required for the 2 Formal nights. The rest -a cotton shirt and dockers was what I saw everyone wearing. I know that is what my husband wears.
