Fuel Surcharge Refund???

In light of Celebrity and RCCL refunding the surcharges to those booked before November 16th, What do you think our chances of getting a refund are?

I for one was very upset about it. I just felt that if I was booked and paid that I should not have been charged this money. I knew gas prices were going up, But they did too when they set the prices for the cruise. They could have adjusted new bookings starting anytime.

I understand that all the cruise lines have been in negotiations with the Attorney General but have not seen anything about Carnival who owns Costa. By the way, if you called and complained Costa claimed they had nothing to do with it, it was Carnival’s decision not theirs.

I would be happy with an on board credit since I have not set sail yet. What does everyone think?
