Anyone know a good private tour guide to take us from Amsterdam to Brugge?

We will be staying in Amsterdam but would like to go to Brugge and Ghent for 1 day. Checked into train, to many transfers, regular tour bus, time not your own, Could drive (husband doesn't really want to but would) so thought we check private tour guide and compare.

Is your stay in Amsterdam pre or post cruise ? If you want to visit Bruges and Ghent, starting in Amsterdam, I personally don't think one day will be enough. Driving only will take about 5 1/2 hours in total. And that's when there are no traffic jams (and most likely there will be). As I understand, you would hire a car in Amsterdam and drive yourself to Belgium ?
