can't hardly wait Posted March 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2008 I'm trying to find the fare basis/ticket designator to fill in on the Fun Pass but have an e-ticket. I haven't flown in 7 years so this is new to me. I just have an emailed confirmation for my ticket. Is the fare basis/ticket designator the same as the airline record indicator? Thanks for any help you can give me. :) I really miss the search feature! TennisLover Posted March 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2008 You don't have to fill that in. I don't even think it's listed on email tickets. If you have any problem, call Carnival. I called them about them once. It's not a problem.

Yes it's usually a series of letters and numbers that are 5 to 9 digits long. They are really interested in what time your flights are more than the actual ticket number.
