Shore Excursions Dalmatian Coast 7/08

We are set to sail on the Windsurf on July 6th out of Venice to Korcula, Dubrovnik, Corfu, Messina, Sorrento, arriving in Rome. We booked a shore excursion in Messina but were wondering about going it alone at the other ports. Any suggestions? Also, has anyone been on the Windsurf recently? I am worried about the negative posts regarding the new management.
