What nights AO take kids to dinner??

Just wondered what nights they take the kids out to dinner. We want to book Chops as soon as we board in order to get the time we want. I understand on boarding there is an area where AO are waiting, will they be able to tell us then and we can go and book straight away??

Yes they would be able to tell you. I think it is the two formal nights, but am not positive.

This is our plan as well to get reservations early for Chops and Portfinos...From my investigation - it appears AO has dinner with kids days 2/4/6 on a 7 night cruise; but I can tell you for sure in a week as we get onboard and find out ourselves:)

For the AO dinners your child must be signed up the morning for later on that evening. They only take a certain amount of kids. One night, I was lucky that they had one opening left for my DD.

Last December on the 5 night cruise aboard the Enchantment there were two nights that my dd ate with the AO crew. One was the formal night and the other was just a regular night.

Thanks for you info. We are going on the Independence for a 10 night cruise. So maybe they may take them out for 3 nights (2 of the formals and one other??) That is, of course, if my youngest (5 year old) will go!!!
