port of livorno italy

has anyone done the canal cruise from this port, i understand it takes about 2 hours at a cost of 10euros pp. ( ships excursion is £19 pp..) thought it would be something different. thanks

We were in Livorno last year on the Spirit.

I don't know what day you will be there, but is was Sunday for us.

Typically Italian, all places were closed, and we were recommended to take a trip to a more "touristy" place - we went to Florence.

I know it doesn't really answer your question about the canal , but they may not operate if it is Sunday.
