Question : How to get to Atlantis from Grand Bahama Island and/or Freeport?

Hi all,

 

Will be booking a cruise (choosing from 2) that has an overnight stay in Grand Bahama Island OR Freeport.

 

Would love to leave the port there and get to Atlantis. How "doable" is this? How expensive? Water taxi or what? Many thanks in advance.

It's actually quite a LONG distance between the two islands (approx. 130 nautical miles). A round trip water taxi, even if there was one, and that I'm not sure of, would have to be a very fast boat to get you there and back. Would certainly not be cheap. You're better off booking a cruise that actually goes to Nassau. :)
