TheFutureMrs. Posted May 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Hi everyone, We will be in Colon, Panama next Thursday sailing with the Carnival Liberty. I am not at all interested in any of the tours that Carnival offers. Does anyone know if there is a nice relaxing tour, maybe for 4 hours or less, that my husband and I could book? I feel like I am going to wind up sitting by the pool that day, but I'd like to do a short, relaxing tour. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Richard in Panama Posted May 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2008 Future Mrs . . . take it this is a honeymoon? Most of the tours out of Colon involve a 1.5-2 hour bus ride . . . not my idea of a fun honeymoon! . . . but you may find an independent tour with someone like Anne Gordon that can be customized for you. A trip to her spouse's Embera village would be very memorable and fun! Suggest reading David McCullough's PATH BETWEEN THE SEAS before you go. I've got lots of info on my blog for Canal cruisers as well http://richarddetrich.wordpress.com/qa-for-cruisers/ Regards, Richard
