judie43 Posted April 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2004 I have heard some good things about this drink. Can anyone tell me how much they cost.I remember reading on this board that someone said they were terrific but costly. Not that that matters when I am on vacation...I can overspend as good as the next guy...I am just curious Thanks
DedeM Posted April 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2004 We just did a ship inspection yesterday on the Navigator and I had 2 royal mojitos at $5.25 each. The regular mojitos were the same price too And they were the BEST mojitos I've ever had. But watch out - they kick your butt!! servpro8912 Posted April 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2004 Ahhh Mojitos. A little mint, a little lime, a little sugar syrup, a lotta Rum. I ended up growing my own mint so I can enjoy them all the time! tfries Posted April 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2004 I tried to order a Mojito at the Pool Bar on the Brilliance in February. The bar guy said "Is that the mint thing? We don't have that" I did not check any of the other bars. We have made them at home using fresh mint and and the Monin Mint syrup and prefer the fresh mint. Thinking of planting some too. skunkface Posted April 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2004 Not sure where you're sailing out of, but we spent an extra two days in Miami pre-cruise. Almost any place in Miami serves Mojitos and they're darn good! We never ordered them on the ship, but in Miami the prices weren't any different than mixed drinks anywhere else. Plus, they're usually served in a water-type glass making them larger than many mixed drinks.
dkepcruiser Posted April 5, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2004 I ordered a mojoto at the pool bar on the Mariner 2 weeks ago and it was lousy but the ones at Boleros were so good we went back probably 3 times, even though we swore were going to try a different bar each night!
