Best Snorkeling - St Thomas

I've done the Trunk Bay thing and it did get me addicted to snorkeling, it was absolutely beautiful.

Now it is my second time to St Thomas and it is time to stay there.

Best Snorkeling?

My sister was looking at an excursion for block island I believe.

I also saw where Coki beach was supposed to have great snorkeling.

Any suggestions? thanks!

4 days to go....

Hello,

I think your sister is likely looking at Buck Island... the snorkeling and charters that go there are a good option... often that is where cruise ship excursion snorkeling charters go. You could also do a private charter; there are a number of boats that take folks out for a day of snorkeling and sailing... most offer lunch and drinks. Check out some of those charters at http://www.*****/stthomas/SandL/

If you want to stay on St. Thomas and do say beach/snorkeling and then an island tour - thats a fun day. Coki has great snorkeling and gets pretty busy with visitors as many tours go there... other options are Sapphire and Secret Harbor - they have good snorkeling.

Have a great time.

Hey Islander! We are thinking of doing the Buck Isalnd tour thru Carnival, then possibly heading to Coki beach for a few hours....We are in port until 8:00pm. Any idea how far the taxi ride is to Coki, from the piers? Thanks!
