jhewitt... I was on this cruise as well. CD was Omar (last name is blank right now). Thought he was okay, nothing special.

Thank you for the review of that great ship. My husband and I are probably going to book it for May 2006 for our 40th wedding anniversary. We are sailing on the Caribbean Princess on 11/20 and have been doing some research on the Golden for our next cruise. Your review is very helpful. By the way, some individuals say that the Caribbean Princess has quite a bit of motion also - it's probably due to the size of the ships - maybe? Glad you had a great trip.
