We will be travelling on the Inspiration on July 5th with our two children ages 10 and 7 (both girls). Has anyone travelled with children of similar ages and used the Camp Carnival on board. If so what were your childrens likes and dislikes, how does it work? Thanks for your replies

We travelled with our children (8 and 10) in March on the Ecstasy and the kids loved Camp Carnival. You will get an orientation the first night. They will explain everything. We needed to sign our kids in and out of camp each time they went. We didn't allow our 10 year old to sign herself out as we didn't want her wandering around the ship on her own but that is the parents' choice. Our kids loved everything about Camp Carnival. The counselors were great and our kids even ate supper with their new camp friends after a couple of days. If your kids have ever gone to day camp before, this will be a similar experience. We did have to get them for lunch each day and sometimes they chose to stay with us instead of going to camp for part of the day so there is lots of flexibility. You are not locked into them attending all day every day when you sign them up. Hope this helps. Have fun.
