nyflush Posted June 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2008 Thinking about booking the Dawn in Aug to Bermuda. I have been on the Dawn 3x's in an AB. What would you book for this cruise AC or AD cabin? 3 sea days and in port in Bermuda. I love the size of the AC balcony but I am worried about the wind. Thanks in advance
Bigdog49 Posted June 16, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2008 Open ocean a no brainer for me. The AD. Balcony usable at all times. Cabins inside identical. If you happen to hit heavy seas the AD gives you a better ride. The only advantage to the AC on the Dawn most of the places I like to go are off the forward stairway:Shows, Spinnakers, Casino, Bistro, Impressions, Dazzels, ........ AD and a spa pass perfect together
nyflush Posted June 16, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted June 16, 2008 Great info thanks! I do spend most the most time at the pool and casino guess I could use the workout lol. I will be going with my son so the AD will work well for the kids crew:) All the AD balcony pics I have seen it never looks like they get sun do they? Keep in mind the AEs ADs and ACs only have a queen bed. As far as the sun my guess not much on the way south but sun most of the day on the return. On the TAs I always had morning sun
nyflush Posted June 16, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted June 16, 2008 The queen bed is not the best but someone booked the last AB on 8/24 today! I really wish NCL would have a small sleeper sofa in the suites. It makes it very hard for two friends to book a suite. In my case he is 12 he will have to deal with it:) I may book at the end of July instead. I really do love the AB but I gotta tell ya at this point I would book an inside cabin on a CTN! It's all last minute because I need a cruise.

There have been ACs and ADs open but no ABs. Firday I got an email from a special fairy - problem solved we are in an A3. I guess we can get by with that :D
