Question on room service...

In Dec, I am doing a cruise on the Radiance which will be "all girls"...leaving the DH and SO behind! Two of us have one of the aft balcony cabins booked and figure that will pretty much become the gathering place because of the large balcony. Just wondering if it is possible to order something like a fruit and cheese plate for 6-8 people at one time? We were thinking of having a late afternoon snack with a drink before dinner. Wondering if this is something you can get from room service. The only thing I have ordered before was breakfast!

Sounds like a fun cruise!!! Yes you should be able to order a platter like that. When you call let them know how many people it will be for. One afternoon my group of 3 ordered cookies and we ended up with two plates of cookies! Enjoy your aft cabin. I had the corner aft on the Explorer and loved the balcony- beautiful views!

If they give you a hassle about ordering too much just have others in your group order items for their own room and bring the stuff with them. We had rather large parties in our suite a few times and orders all sorts of stuff. Only once did they question how much we ordered and when they did we ordered the stuff for our friends in the room next door.

Thanks. We had a corner aft (9256) on the Serenade in Jan so I booked the same cabin for this cruise. I know how great the balcony is...that is why I'm thinking it will become the "gathering place"! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
