weather in february

i was wondering if anyone has cruised in the meditteranean in february. if anyone knows how the weather and the seas are this time of year. we are leaving out of barcelona, and going to rome, athens, izmir, alexandria, and malta. thanks for any help

thanks so much for the info. i had read stuff about really bad seas and weather and was wondering if this was the norm

We cruised last Feb and it was wonderful!!! Roundtrip out of Civitavecchia, up to Savona and then south to Alexandria. In Rome we had a room with a roof terrace and were able to sit out at night, all other ports were PERECT touring temps--mid 60s to low 70s. Egypt a a bit warmer and I wouldn't even attempt it during the summer.

We hit somewhat rough seas (well very rough--the pilot couldn't make it out to the ship) on our way back to Civitavecchia, but that can happen at any time on any sea.

I have to remember that warm and cool depends on what you are used to. For us coming from temps well below freezing in Feb--anything seems warm!!!
