Casablanca: any info on train to Rabat ?

We decided to do our own tour: go to Hassan II Mosque, and then take a train to Rabat. But there is very little info on the web about Casablanca, and Morocco in general. Could anybody tell us where the train station is, do we need to book tickets in advance, etc ?
