Burpep Posted September 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2008 I am taking the 7 day CP cruise out of NY and have a very late flight home the day of disembarkment. I would like to tour NYC for that day, but am at a loss as to what to do with my luggage. I did not arrange my flight thru Princess. Any help would be apprieciated!
Laurie12820 Posted September 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2008 Sometimes hotels will hold the luggage for a fee. Also, check with the airport they may have a luggage hold as well.
the2006Junket Posted September 11, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2008 I would recommend that you take a cab to a good mid-town hotel in Manhattan -- Marriott or Westin Times Square would work. As the bellmen help you out of your taxi, just say that you need to check your luggage for a few hours, given how early in the morning it is. If pressed you can say that you'll be checking in later. Tip generously when they give you the luggage tag slips. When you return after your touring just hand your slips to another bellman (if the original one if still there) and thank them, tip them and ask for a taxi (they will assume that you had checked out that morning and stored your luggage). Should work like a charm! Lynne
ShipsandDipper Posted September 12, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2008 I read about a place called Schwartz Travel Services. Luggage storage and lockers in Manhattan.
