Small Cats and West Side Scuba Centre

Just want to give you an alternative to Silver Moon. I have been in touch with the above companies, as well as oceanadventures which books the Silver Moon. They were both very responsive to my questions in my emails. Our group of 8 decided to book with Small Cats - we chartered the cat for 3 hours for a snorkel trip in December. Including transportation and drinks, the charter was $450 - a good price, we felt. Also, it will go when and where we like, with just us - in fact, our snorkel trip is scheduled for 9-12, so we could do other things in the afternoon. The oceanadventures staff was also very responsive, but our group decided we wanted a shorter trip than their regularly scheduled lunch cruise.

The West Side Scuba Centre has dive boats that will also take you out snorkeling. These are not catamarans, but motor boats. They have a variety of trips regularly scheduled, as well as being available for charter.

it looks like i am booking the small cat for a snorkel trip for three hours with shoretrips.com. they are offering the trip for 3 people for $130.00. Does this sound good or should i call smallcats directly? I am using a shore excursion company for this trip being that i researched everything else to do and i like the idea that my morning is on the boat and the afternoon is free to see the beach that i wanted to lay out on. And my 3 1/2 year old will love the turtles. thanks for any info you might have.

That price seems about right to me, luvstocruise. Ours works out to $56.25 pp including drinks and transportation. Your charter prices out to $43.33 pp, I am assuming not including drinks. Its nice to know they will charter for so few people.
