jpritcha Posted September 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2008 Has anyone ever stayed in cabin # 938 on the NCL Majesty? If so, can you tell me if the view is obstructed. Thanks, Janine
maryln Posted September 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2008 I looked at cruisestateroom.com. EE catagory staterooms have partially obstructed views. There's a photo looking out of cabin 940 next door. Seems like you'd be looking between the lifeboats. Let's see if someone has actually been in that stateroom that can tell you for sure or I could check it out for you when I'm on the Majesty in a couple weeks!:D
jpritcha Posted September 10, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted September 10, 2008 Thanks for your prompt response and help! Can you forward me the photo of cabin 940? Cabin 940 is supposed to be 40% obstructed and cabin 938 is supposed to be 90% obstructed, however, when you look at the floor charts, it would appear opposite. It does seem that 938 would be looking between life boats, however, I would like to see how much obstructions. I have the cabin booked, but would consider another cabin if I had more info. Thanks again for your help. Would love for you to check it out - when are you going? What cabin are you in?
welove2cruise232 Posted September 10, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2008 We've stayed in 943 several times (directly opposite 938). 943 has an 80% obstruction; 938 has a 90% obstruction. We don't mind the obstruction at all -- so long as we have daylight, and we love the size of this cabin (we've actually stayed in 943 at least 4 times). I might have a photo of the window looking out; let me know if you want me to post it here.
jpritcha Posted September 10, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted September 10, 2008 Yes, please post the photo. What is the obstruction of? Any help you can provide helps much. Since this is a smaller boat, can you feel it rocking? Can you provide me with any details on this ship? Must be good since you traveled on it several times. Thanks!! welove2cruise232 Posted September 12, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 12, 2008 I'll bet you thought I forgot about posting this photo! Sorry, it's just been crazy around here (work AND home) lately. The obstruction is a lifeboat. This is a supposedly 80% obstructed view!
