CC Class-Sofa Beds-Questions????

We are considering booking the Millenium CC class cabin for our 30th anniversary next January. Our son will be sailing with us, and the rooms do not have an overhead berth, but a sofa bed for him to sleep on. Is this a typical uncomfortable sofa bed like you would find in a motel with a mattress so thin you can feel the bars that support the bed? I would apprciate any imput that I can get. Thanks.
