This might help I went on carnival.com and used the contact us feature. In about 2 days they respomded and in another 5 sent out an apology with a note to call in before our next cruise. Good luck

We cruised in June and will not cruise again until Feb. 09.

 

I sent the letter about mid August. Just got my 45 day letter back.

 

Before the June cruise I had sent a letter about 6 weeks prior and got the 45 day letter back right away.

 

So, I guess it really doesn't matter when you send the letter, just so it leaves them enough time to respond.
