Discover SCUBA in Grand Cayman or Roatan

I am going on the Legend during Thanksgiving week. I cannot decide if I should dive in Grand Cayman or Roatan. Both offer discover Scuba trips. Any suggetions would be great

My DH did a discover scuba in GC and we booked through a private tour operator. This worked out great because he was able to scuba with the stingrays, while the rest of us were on top with our snorkel gear. Can't recall the tour operator right now, but the trip was fantastic!

We did the discover dive in Grand Cayman and loved it so much we got certified and now dive all over. We went through the ships excursions and they used a small dive shop on 7-mile beach that did a great job - sorry, their name escapes me. I have not dived in Roatan, but the facilities/resources there seem less... regulated? Everything seemed far more professional on Cayman.

Haven't yet been to Roatan (planning on going to Utila next March instead), but really liked my experience with Don Foster's in Grand Cayman. Great folks, thorough, and kept the dive groups small...2-3 divers per DM!
