crusinmama06 Posted October 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2008 Blackbeards. And are you taking the little cutie in your avatar? Then definatly blackbeards. British Colonial is *suppose* to be a more adult beach area. It's not the tropical paradise that Blackbeards is. But I guess the real question, are you planning to swim with stingrays? Cause that's what is nice at Blackbeards. This is British Colonial... This is Blackbeards Cay - even the water color is different. ;)
Luv2cruise14 Posted October 20, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted October 20, 2008 The little cutie is the **grandbaby** and he is staying home with mommy :) This was a last minute cruise for DH and myself before he leaves for a yr in Iraq. We are just looking for a nice beach area to go to in Nassau. Do you know if Breezes Resort has day passes to their facility? Thanks for your help!!! Yes Breezes does, but I don't know if I would recommend them. Some recent reports on the RCCL board talked about it being pretty run down. Here is the link to that thread.... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=837467&highlight=Breezes
Luv2cruise14 Posted October 21, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted October 21, 2008 I think we want to try out Blackbeard's Cay.....is there a website where we can book this on our own instead of going through RC? RC website states that the duration is only 3 hrs. Thanks again!!!
