Browezilla Posted October 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Hi, Typcially I book private excursions well in advance, but this time I'm thinking about booking from a local operator at the pier. I have a couple of questions 1) Could anyone comment on their experience doing this (cost, quality, etc)? 2) What was the cost and is it negotiable. suzbcruiser Posted October 25, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Hi, Typcially I book private excursions well in advance, but this time I'm thinking about booking from a local operator at the pier. I have a couple of questions 1) Could anyone comment on their experience doing this (cost, quality, etc)? 2) What was the cost and is it negotiable. We booked with an operator at the end of the Punta Langosta pier and had a great experience. The price started at $50/person and we talked them down to $35/person. This price included all you can drink beer, water and soda. They provided the snorkling equipment, which by the way was very nice. If you do this ask for the boat with Freddie and Manuel. We had so much fun with these two we booked and did the same trip the next day because our ship had to stay an extra day due to Hurricane Ike. We got their business cards and are going to plan an excursion next November with them.
Magic City Cruiser Posted October 25, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2008 What was the name if the company? We met a nice young man that worked for a dive/snorkel company at Chank last year by the name of Manuel.
