Post-Cruise Bora Bora

Sailing on the Star Flyer in February 2009 and have tentatively booked a post-cruise for 3 days in Bora Bora.

The post-cruise package seems quite expensive. Is the post-cruise through Star Clippers worth the additional expense? What else would there be to do besides diving and snorkling (which we are planning to do on the cruise)? Are there any "not to be missed" dives or snorkling sites? What's the hotel like?

Thanks for your help!

Everything is quite expensive on Bora Bora. You might try the link below. This forum has quite a bit of current information on Bora Bora from recent travelers. We haven't been on Bora Bora since 2001 (on the R3 -- now Tahitian Princess) but at that time almost its entire pericoastal strip around the island had been developed. However, there should be plenty of touristy type things to do. We were only docked there for 2 days (rented a car, swam, hung out at Bloody Marys and went on a sunset cruise on a catamaran).

We'll be on the same cruise as you but are staying a week post trip on Huahine. See you in Feb!
