Destiny cabins on deck six

Have booked surprise trip on Destiny 22 Feb 09 for the wife. She is a very light sleeper so have booked as far up the ship as possible to avoid noise of the engines.I just wondered wether this was a quiet deck compared to the lower decks,i also booked a cabin away from the lifts.

Not sure about Deck 6 but we usually book Deck 5 and it's not noisy at all. From what I've read on some other threads if you go too high you can get the noise from the open deck when they are moving the sun beds about in the morning, so I would think 6 would be okay.

I always book deck 6 because of it's location. It's always quiet up there and there is no noise from the open decks either.
