coromandel peninsula tour

we are ending our cruise in Auckland and will be spending a few days there. We would like to take a 1 day tour of Coromandel peninsula. any recommendations on tours and tour companies would be appreciated. also, are we better to take the ferry or the land route?

There is a couple of companies that do day tours from Auckland to Coromandel.

Try Bush and Beach www.bushandbeach.co.nz or 360 Discovery www.360discovery.co.nz

Bush and Beach take you by small coach and 360 Discovery by boat then coach.

Enjoy it. Coromandel has to be one of my favourite places in NZ!

thanks so much for the response. through the power of the internet I had found both of the companies you referenced. it appears that the ferry service doesn't run on Mondays which is the only day we can fit it in. The bush and beach website looks promising and I am hoping their service is on par.
