kiraryker Posted December 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2008 I have been on my treadmill daily and my current shoes just create sore feet & blisters on my toes - when I walk/run I tend to push my feet into the front of my shoes. SouthernCaribbean Posted December 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2008 I have been on my treadmill daily and my current shoes just create sore feet & blisters on my toes - when I walk/run I tend to push my feet into the front of my shoes. Thanks I would suggest going to a running store and have one of the workers assist you. While you can just go and pick a shoe, there are so many variables when finding the right shoe for the type for your foot and gait. Here is a good link to check out. http://www.ehow.com/how_2041199_select-running-shoe.html Good Luck, once you find a good shoe, you will get like some of us and buy them in bulk. I use 3 different shoes depending on when and how I run.
me&2kids Posted December 16, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 16, 2008 Make sure you go to a locally owned running store (not a megamart). I had issues until a fellow runner fit me in a shoe that helped my over pronation (meaning I turn my ankles in). Personally I like Mizuno and Saucony. You can also check out runnersworld.com for a guide.
kiraryker Posted December 16, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted December 16, 2008 Well I purchased a pair of Saucony and I'm in heaven!!!! They just hug my feet and support them perfectly - no blisters or pain after an hour on my treadmill!!! Thanks everyone!
