Weather on St. Maartem and other islands

Our cruise departs on 12/09 from San Juan, visiting Tortola, Barbados, Aruba, St. Maarten, Curacao, Grenada, St. Lucia. I've seedn a forecast promising showers on all of them everyday. Does somebody of loca people or recent cruisers could explain me, what are showers there now: are they long and strong, or they are just short drizzles?

Today is 12/14, Sunday, but you just posted this 12/13.

 

If you are posting from a ship, tropical showers are usually brief, somewhat heavy squalls.
