Snorkeling on Stone Island for daughter?

My DD, age 7, learned to snorkel last year, and is wanting to pack her snorkeling gear for this trip. The only time she would be able to possibly snorkel this cruise is when we go to Stone Island. The other ports aren't going to be beach days....is is worth packing, or is water too murky, cold and wavy to bother? She last snorkeled at Half Moon with calm, clear water. Don't want to pack unnecessarily. Thanks
