Anyone ever ask for an upgrade and succeeded?

Thanks to all. I called RCI and they said it would be $1600 to upgrade for one room and $1700 for the other. I paid $569 per person. Even though the room would currently sell for $1100 per person, they take the difference between what I paid for the room and the current price. It has nothing to do with what the current price they have on the room is. There are 2 aft cabins right next to each other. I can't double the price of my cruise. We got a very good deal.

How long is the cruise? I know it is approx $600 for a 7 day cruise from inside or is it outside to balcony. That is total for room. It has nothing to do with prices you deal with the "pier coordinator". There is a schedule of charges someplace on these boards and if you wait long enough it will show up. Now of course the rooms could be gone by the time you sail.

$569 was a good price. I don't think it will drop below that one.
