Woke up bright and early on Thur and had breakfast in the dining room- eggs benedict were great.

Lots of activities goin on today---played trivia, got some sun, casino time, etc- Won a ship on a stick for trivia.

Tonight was 2nd formal night----

hit the piano bar again and we closed it down...

Friday- slept in- had lunch in the dining room for the 1st time-- got some sun and then back to room to start packing ugh! More activities going on today too-

final thoughts---- check in was a breeze- we got to the port about 1130 and were on board shortly thereafter----

It was so nice to see crew members from before and that they remembered us

We had requesed 615 dinner, got 8pm, so we had to get it changed with the maitre'd the first afternon- we got stuck with 545p and a table for 2 in the rear of the platinum dining room- good view of the ocean right before it got really dark----we wanted a bigger table but nothing was avail for ealy seating. Our wait staff was just ok- have had much better. All of the food was excellent.

Room steward was very efficient!!! Not real talkative, but boy he knew we slept in and must have been hiding when we left the cabin each am about 1030 a our room was always cleaned by the time we got back from breakfast/lunch.

John Heald was great- he had a "morning show" on the tv and he would call up people- pretty funny- also you could write him a note about your spouse, girlfriend, etc saying how much u loved them and he would read it "live"

The past guest party had both savory and sweet treats- it was on Thur and we had the early time of 5pm---so we didnt eat much but had a table full of drinks.

Met a lot of nice people, loved the piano bar--Ron really had it jumping---social!!!!

We didnt attend the production shows this time- we had seen them before and yes they are good. Saw the talent show and the bedtime story.

Debarkation- we could stay in our cabins till your color was called - so that was nice-- we were in the car by 930

Final final thought---why does that one week go by so fast?????

Thanks for the review--I can't wait until I cruise the Glory. I didn't see if you ate at the Supper Club? Can you make reservations through t.v or do you have to go to the info desk or the restaurant itself?

we were on the Glory last week too and did the Supper Club Friday evening. We had been walking on deck 5 and one of the waiters from the SC was near the sushi bar and had a display of the meats they offer, that's all it took - we knew we had to try it out. He took our reservation right then. Some of our tablemates from our regular dining room wanted to join us when they heard we were going so we just called and made an adjustment to our reservation. Everything was delicious! We had the shrimp cocktail, I had a caesar salad with anchovies (awesome!), DH had a regular salad w/blue cheese, he said it was good, but then he doesn't care for vinaigrette (sp?) dressings. We both had the porterhouse, it was the best steak I've ever had! So very tender, near the bone it was a little under cooked, we had the wasabi mashed Yukon gold potatoes as a side, also very good. We had the wasabi on the side so we could adjust the heat level for ourselves. Everything was delicious! We'd definitely eat there again!

WE didnt do the supper club this time- have done it before.

The food is delicious as the op stated, but the design of the supper club on the Glory is my least favorite---I think the ones on the Pride and Legend are much prettier---they are 2 levels and just seems so much more classy.

But if you have not been to a supper club, you really need to try ot- well worth the 25.00---make your reservations early, so you can get the night of your choice-

you can call from your room as soon as you board.

I thought the design of the Glory supper club was horrible. It was dank, with the green curtains over the windows so that passerbys couldn't stare at you. it would have been great if it had been where you could see the ocedan. Grrr..!

The food and service was great though. I never thought I'd go ga ga over mashed potatoes, until I had those Yukon gold mashed. They were good, even cold in my room refrigerator.
