QE2 fan Posted March 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2009 I am booked on QM2's 2010 world cruise. As I'm travelling alone, I am paying 75% of the 2nd person's fare. This amounts to £17,000 for an inside cabin. The problem is I can't find any insurer who offers cancellation cover for this amount. Cunard themselves do offer insurance, but it costs nearly £600. Do any of you know where else I could try for a quote. (I'm in the UK). Many Thanks, Carol.
FranKes2000 Posted March 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2009 My travel agent assists in getting insurance quotes. It depends on how you pay for the cruise but your charge card may have insurance you can use.

The norm for cancellation is £5000, in the past you could have approached a Lloyd's broker and arranged increased cover but I am not sure now. If you would like to contact me I may be able to assist. on jmc at jmclondon dot com Jim
