World Cruise Travel Insurance

I am booked on QM2's 2010 world cruise. As I'm travelling alone, I am paying 75% of the 2nd person's fare. This amounts to £17,000 for an inside cabin. The problem is I can't find any insurer who offers cancellation cover for this amount. Cunard themselves do offer insurance, but it costs nearly £600.

Do any of you know where else I could try for a quote. (I'm in the UK).

Many Thanks,

Carol.

Carol, the lack of answers should not make you think that no-one cares, sadly no-one knows the answer. The norm for cancellation is £5000, in the past you could have approached a Lloyd's broker and arranged increased cover but I am not sure now. If you would like to contact me I may be able to assist. on jmc at jmclondon dot com
