teresapink Posted March 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Anyone with recent experience? We have always siled on RCI ships that had 2 clubs-one for the younger teens, one for the older. The Serenade has one for both. How is that worked out? Also is there a teen night at the Disco (Vortex) T
Irish90Cruiser Posted March 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Hi Teresa - Our oldest was 12 on our 2/21/09 Serenade cruise and we had her stay in with the younger kids, but we got the activity schedules for the 12-14 age group which I think is mixed in with the older teens. There is a family night at the vortex but I didn't see one just for teens. The teen area is like a little nightclub so I think they just played music in there for them at night. Here's a recap of the 12-14 activities the week we were on - day 1 - open house, meet & greet, dodgeball, Wii mario kart, Fuel night club day 2 - ping pong tournament, dice game, volleyball, teen dinner in the WJ, guitar hero, karoake, casino night (in Fuel), all request night club day 3 - backstage tour of Tropical theater, blackjack challenge, Wii bowling, rock band, free arcade, the debut of 'DUSK' (no idea but they are supposed to wear white?), midnight raffle day 4 - mini golf, Wii boxing, foosball tournament, alphabet photo scavenger hunt, mission impossible, dodgeball, pool party, Fuel night club day 5 - coffee talk and sports trivia, Create it! Message in a bottle, basketball, video scavenger hunt, movie night, snacks & bingo day 6 - billiards, theater games, Wii tennis, teen dinner, Fuel unplugged, dressy scavenger hunt, The Warehouse (music/dancing in Fuel) day 7 - shuffleboard, texas hold'em, amazing race, hip hop dance class, speed climb, air hockey tournament, final dodgeball, rock band, prom night There were only 50 teens on the ship that week but we did see small groups of them doing some of the activities. Let me know if you want any more info. Katie
