Fantasy Island Beach Day with NCL?

We are going to be on the The NCL Sea next Saturday and we will be doing the Fantasy Island Trip with them. Has anybody done this? How was it? We also set up some shore diving with them while we are there. :) Thanks for the info!!!! Noel

If you booked the same tour that I did on my first trip on the Sun, you will stop at two shipwrecks at which you can take photos, the airport tower, the Iguana Farm, and then Fantasy Island. The Iguana Farm is a hoot! I went there on both cruises I took on the NCL Sun to the Western Caribbean.

 

Fantasy Island is a gated resort. The water in the beach area was so calm it reminded me of a lake. There was snorkeling that could be done at a reef in an area adjacent to the beach and also offshore off a boat.

 

I have photos of Fantasy Island that I took on my Sun cruise in 2002. I have moe photos I took of Roatan on the trip that I just returned from two weeks ago. The links to these photos are in my signature block.
