Can you get to playa del carmen easy from Cozumel

Hi

We are going to be in Cozumel on Tuesday 12/14 arriving on the NCL Dream.

Is it easy to get to Playa Del Carmen. :)

Two different ferries have hourly departures -- 30-45 minutes each way. But, unless you have a specific reason to go to PdC -- well, there's more to do on Cozumel.

:) There is a ferry boat service (actually there are 2 of them) that leaves from the pier downtown every hour on the hour in the morning till noon & every-other hour till 5pm when it goes back to every hour till 7pm. It will cost you 190 pesos round trip from either service (Ultra-Mar Yellow Boat and Mexico Water-Jet White Boat). If you want a little extra sun, take the Ultra-Mar, they have more seats available on the top deck that get sun.

 

The trip only takes about 30-35 minutes, and is quite pleasant, unless there's a strong front coming through.

Can anyone tell me where the lighthouse is there and how far it is form where the ferrys dock:)

The lighthouse in PDC is only about a 5 min walk from the ferry pier. You can see it when you´re coming in!
