Cruisin 3 Posted April 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2009 I'm interested in going to Gumbalimba Park in Roatan but I also want to go horseback riding there. I think we can do both but I'm not sure. Apparently I have to book Gumbalimba Park through Carnival in order to get in. They have a tour of the park that looks cool, but can I chose to go horseback riding when I'm in the park? Can I make a reservation for the horseback riding?
Cruisin 3 Posted April 22, 2009 Author #2 Share Posted April 22, 2009 I want to go to Gumbalimba Park in Roatan but I also want to go horseback riding there. Apparently I have to book my trip to Gumbalimba through Carnival but it doesn't say anything about horseback riding. Can I just find the stables there and rent a couple of horses? Can I book that excursion as well ahead of time? It looks like going through Carnival just gets me in the door. Are there multiple activities to partake in?
Sagitarius Posted April 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2009 My GF and I are going in late May and from what I understand, you can book several different activities to do throughout the day. I tried to email the park to find out costs and so on, but I never got a response.:( Carnival gets you in but does not include any extras like we are referring to. If you Google Gumbalimba Park you will find all of the different activities they offer, but no prices. If you go before I do, let me know how it works. I'm very interested to know. Have a great time!
