Stick with the recommended automatic tipping and also give extra in cash at the end of the each cruise. We also tip other crew members who are not included in the automatic tipping.

They all work very hard day in and day out. We appreciated all their hard work. In addition to tipping we give out "You made a difference" cards to those who went over and above their normal duties.

Thanks crew & staff for all your hard work in making our cruises so wonderful.

1. I've never reduced tips.

2. Never removed tips.

3. Never tipped at the beginning of a cruise.

I always tip the recommended amounts....and extra to cabin steward and his assistant and the waiters at my dining table...at the end of the cruise.

Usually find a favorite bartender during the cruise who gets extra tips during the week and, sometimes at the end.

Always tip the casino dealer, win, lose or draw.

I've never noticed any thing other than stellar service. friendly waiters and others, good dealers, helpful staff......

Veteran of 64 Carnival cruises and more on other lines.

I live in the UK, a market where the American based cruise lines have started to move heavily into. You would NOT believe it. The last morning of the cruise invariably involves a lobby FULL of Brits getting the auto gratuities removed; and I mean they do this en-masse. Collectively, as a nation, they should stick to their own cruise lines and stay off of ours. They just don't tip as part of their culture
