Nice port information

Does anyone have information for Nice as far as going from the ship to Eze and Monte Carlo? Are they both do-able in one day and affordable as compared to the ship excursion. The ship offers Nice, Eze and Monte Carlo all in one day with about 1 hour in each place on your own. This is what I would like to see, but can i do it on my own? or is it just better to take the trip and see the highlights?

If you are in Nice for a good period of time, do it yourself.

One bus you can pick up at the Nice bus terminal will take you from Nice to close to Eze and to Monaco - 1 euro, 45 - 50 minutes.
