Island Princess - Dolphin Deck, 217/219

We are doing the northbound Alaska cruise on Island Princess. We waited too late to book because we weren't even sure we were able to cruise this summer so choice of rooms was kind of limited.

 

We are on Dolphin Deck, rooms 217 and 219. It's a balcony but I"m worried about it being forward. I've always traveled mid-ship. Mid ship was not available unless we wanted to pay a fortune (which was impossible unless we won the lottery hahah).
