Alaska Cruise/Canada/Dui

There are a number of threads on this but I thought I'd start a new one to write of my most recent experience. I hope that's alright.

I went through Vancouver last Friday (june 12) without a problem. He took my passport, scanned it, asked where I was going and that was it. I was in front of him for a maximum of thirty seconds. Another friend (with a drug possession felony/not dui) went through the week before with no problem.

As it has been said before (and I'm sure will be said again--I can hear it already), this is purely anecdotal evidence and has no bearing on what will happen to YOU when you go through. I do feel, however, that I got myself pretty worked up over something that turned out to be pretty insignificant.

I will NOT be going into Canada again.

Alaska was beautiful. Spectacular. I highly recommend this cruise.
