How good of a swimmer...

do you have to be do swim with the dolphins? I have 2 daughters that really want to do this.

I think my 11 year old would be totally fine. It's the 8 year old I'm questioning. They are wearing a life jacket. How well do they actually have to be able to swim?

I would hate to let one child swim and one only pet but....

I'm looking at Dolphin Cove Encounter or swim in Grand Cayman.

Thanks for any advice you may have.

There is a huge difference between an encounter and a swim.

I think if you ae worried an encounter will be good enough.

make sure you know exactly what you get with whatever you book.
